I'm a little unsatisfied with
@vernissage when it comes to presenting images sources. There is no way of determining whether a photo is original, taken by the account that posts it, or whether it is a photo of a third party that the account is sharing.
I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing photos of other artists, and it's quite commendable to be an account whose concept is to collect photos of artists. I'd just like to be able to distinguish between an original post and a share at a glance, without having to check the account's profile page.
What pains me is that this problem cannot be solved by Vernissage, because most of the content visible on Vernissage comes from the Fediverse. We therefore have to rely only on the information that ActivityPub shares.
