I am looking for a series of videos, preferably, or a (long) video detailing the history of (British) heavy metal from a historical, musical and social perspective.
I don't want a satisfying and entertaining but simplistic narrative of "Such-and-such band INVENTED HEAVY METAL! and such-and-such genius did this and metal exists thanks to this song".
I want to know if historians have worked (or fans have worked in a historical/sociological way) on the birth and life of this/these culture(s) through the ages, from the 1960s to... I don't know, at least the 1990s?
I am looking for French and English.
