What causes gravity? This research is so far beyond my comprehension that I can't even summarize it, much less judge whether it is believable.

It appears the author proposes that entropy... "The randomness of things", like for example why an engine cannot achieve 100% efficiency - which could be dark matter, these random bits are connected by the "quantum theory of entanglement" which connects things which may not be close together. Which causes a G-field that results in gravity. That's what I understood anyway, but it is above my head. Someone who understands physics probably has a better answer than my uneducated hack answer :) It kinda sounds like the author thinks general relativity, thermodynamics, newtonian physycs aren't exactly "de facto" but have some slop in them, which is the entropy.

I think one of our human failings is, when we see a very complex or non-obvious explanation for something, we are incapable of knowing how correct it is -- BUT we make a decision anyway about whether to believe it or not.

What do we base that decision on? The reputation of the scientist? Which political team we're on? Whether we have to change any of our beliefs that we call "common sense"?

It's like an extension of Arthur C Clarke's rule, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Anything that is too complex for us to understand is either "good magic" to be accepted, or "black magic" to be thrown into the flames along with its creator.

I like being in the "I don't know" camp sometimes, because the corollary is "and maybe I'll find out". And that part is usually fun.
